One way of the fastest ways of doing marketing today is building a website. Should one decide to shift and decide to do this, here are some tips one needs to know to get started.
1. The first thing to do is to determine what the person wants to do. The product has to fill a need that the customers want right now. It should provide a solution of some kind that will make that will improve the quality of life either at home or at work.
2. The next is to do the proper research. If the business is done with a group of people or a single proprietorship, it is best to brainstorm for the best domain name for the business. It should be catchy and will easily be remembered by people. Given that there are probably other people who have been in the business longer and that it is possible that the domain name has already been taken, it is best to think of several names in case it can no longer be used.
There are sites in the web that have search engines to look for a specific subject and using popular keywords for ones website will easily help people find it. These sites also allow one to make a site map which can be downloaded in minutes for a small fee.
Another good example is the various email sites and by doing a tie-up with these companies, one can get exposure as well as free service since people who do not have an account can also sign up and be an active member.
3. A product of good quality should be sold at a decent price. Sometimes, the product one makes is already available in the market. To be competitive, one must figure out a way to convince people as to why this product is better than the other leading brands available. What features does it have that the competitor doesn't? What makes it unique which is not only about the product on hand but the service that this can give as well?
4. Just like having a normal business, one must acquire the right equipment and machines for the job. These could be merchandise that is either physical or electronic and an online ordering system.
To be successful, one should be sure that the goods that a customer will order can be delivered on time. If there are any problems, a customer support staff or system should be ready to cater to that.
5. It takes money to make more money so one should be careful with what needs to be spent. By putting in tight controls in terms of expenditures and keeping track of the current balance while maintaining the same level of quality saves money which can be used for other things.

Basic SEO
1. Insert keywords within the title tag so that search engine robots will know what your page is about. The title tag is located right at the top of your document within the head tags. Inserting a keyword or key phrase will greatly improve your chances of bringing targeted traffic to your site.
Make sure that the title tag contains text which a human can relate to. The text within the title tag is what shows up in a search result. Treat it like a headline.
2. Use the same keywords as anchor text to link to the page from different pages on your site. This is especially useful if your site contains many pages. The more keywords that link to a specific page the better.
3. Make sure that the text within the title tag is also within the body of the page. It is unwise to have keywords in the title tag which are not contained within the body of the page.
Adding the exact same text for your h1 tag will tell the reader who clicks on your page from a search engine result that they have clicked on the correct link and have arrived at the page where they intended to visit. Robots like this too because now there is a relation between the title of your page and the headline.
Also, sprinkle your keywords throughout your article. The most important keywords can be bolded or colored in red. A good place to do this is once or twice in the body at the top of your article and in the sub-headings.
4. Do not use the exact same title tag on every page on your website. Search engine robots might determine that all your pages are the same if all your title tags are the same. If this happens, your pages might not get indexed.
I always use the headline of my pages as the title tag to help the robots know exactly what my page is about. A good place to insert the headline is within the h1 tag. So the headline is the same as the title tag text.
5. Do not spam the description or keyword meta tag by stuffing meaningless keywords or even spend too much time on this tag. SEO pros all agree that these tags are not as important today as they once were. I just place my headline once within the keywords and description tags.
6. Do not link to link-farms or other search engine unfriendly neighborhoods. A good rule of thumb is if your pages do not contain any words that reflect the content of the site you are linking to, do not link to it.
7. Do not use doorway pages. Doorway pages are designed for robots only, not humans. Search engines like to index human friendly pages which contain content which is relevant to the search.
8. Title tags for text links. Insert the title tag within the HTML of your text link to add weight to the link and the page where the link resides. This is like the alt tag for images.
My site contains navigation menus on the left and right of the page. The menu consists of links not images. The links are keywords. When you hover over the link with your mouse, the title of the link appears. View the source of this page to see how to add this tag to your links.
9. Describe your images with the use of the alt tag. This will help search engines that index images to find your pages and will also help readers who use text only web browsers.
10. Submit to the search engines yourself. Do not use a submission service or submission software. Doing so could get your site penalized or even banned.

We all know what backlink is, really?
Search engines use the number of backlinks that a website has as one of the factors for determining that website's search engine ranking. Google's PageRank algorithm uses backlinks to check for sites rank.
Links that point to ur site reveals that u have valid content related to ur niche site that u market and for that reason google gives importance to quality based content links.
To increase PR webmasters use SEO
Basic factors for BACKLINKS:
# Age of Domain (old domains preffered first)
# .Edu, .gov. org links can greatly increase ur page rank as 1 .edu can make a big difference provided it should be based on relevant category
# Content, Community, Message boards, Article posting, Social Bookmarking, Group posting can get in backlinks
# One-way backlinks are great which is widely being used.
# If the Content is appealing and is subjective then u can get a massive traffic of links pointing to ur site which ultimately boosts ur page rank
Suggestions for Backlinks
# Target Niche site
# Avoid Link Farms
# Avoid Mail forwarding of spam mails
# Generate One-way links to get Backlinks
# Link exchange with only relevant categories as it would take a lot of
time but its worth if u get .edu or .org site which can make a huge difference.
# Check on updates for change in google's algorithm
# Avoid paid links
# Use Yahoo paid directory for TRAVELS, Property, Online Shopping
# Relevant directories with few external links
# Relevant Directories with PR 2-3-4-5 or with greater Internal Links
# Optimize ur site for users with relevant keywords that point ur site
# Use SMO Technique ( Social Media Optimization) which can generate huge traffic but should be relevant to ur subject
# Combine SEO + SEM + SMO can generate quality based BACKLINKS.
So i thought i need to stop here, i would come up with some great tools related to backlinks.
So keep glued.

When optimizing a page, the basic first step is to know what to optimize for – that is, what words or phrases you want to have a high ranking for.
It is usually a good idea for each individual page of your website to be primarily optimized around a single phrase. That’s certainly not to say that you shouldn’t use other keyphrases as well, but giving one of them priority is a wise strategy.
The main goal of this strategy, of course, is to be number the number one listing (or at least on the first page) in Google, Yahoo, and/or MSN when internet users type your phrase into the search box.
Smaller websites will generally see better results when their pages are optimized for more specific “niche” terms, rather than highly competitive terms that lots of people are trying to rank for. That’s why it can be much more effective to choose a creative two to five word keyphrase rather than a single keyword with a lot of competition, such as “travel” or “finance”.
Finding a relevant, popular keyphrase that you will realistically be able to rank for certainly isn’t easy, but it’s definitely worth doing. After all, aside from blind luck, having a good idea of what you want is the only way to get it.

1. To begin to optimize your web page for search engines consider the most important factor for search engines listing which is the title. Choose the right title. Select a primary keyword for the title that is attractive and attention getting because this way you can get more traffic than usual. Repeat the primary keyword to get more weight in search results.
2. Use as much text as possible in the entire website because search engines most of the time seek for text and search engines cannot understand beyond text. So to optimize your webpage for search engines try to as much as possible give importance to text. Make it a point to use maximum reasonable and quality text on your website. But do not take away images because they contribute to the happy disposition of your webpage.
3. To optimize your webpage for search engines is to rank high on search engines list. And there are ideas which have been around for a while and these are some rules to play by. To begin with know that search engines love meta tags. Meta tags have become essential in search engine ranking to optimize your webpage for search engines. The right keywords make for keyword popularity. These are keywords that drive relevant traffic to your site. The right selection of keywords is a critical part to optimize your webpage for search engines. This will enable you to see how many people searched for a keyword and the variations of that keyword.
5. Keywords should reflect the topics and sub-topics of your text. As has been mentioned choosing the best key words at the same time insuring proper tag placement get better opportunity for success.
6. To optimize your webpage for search engines analyze and evaluate your page for some practices that could cause problems with search engines. This will warn you before they get you in trouble.
7. Learn to track your progress in search engines. Find out if you are even listed at all. Detect if you are moving up or down in the rankings. Rank is of primary importance that is why you should know where you stand. This way is knowing if you are ahead of the competition.
To optimize your webpage for search engines is to get fame. Just remember that contents matter most. Your website traffic will eventually increase as you go along working on development and promotion. Do not take lightly search engine optimization.

Deep links can also avoid appearance of your pages in Google supplemental results. Link from another site tels Google spiders that it might be some useful information and it is better to keep this page in index and crawl more often. Moreover, deep links can help to crawl website deeper when some of your pages located more than 3-5 clicks away from the homepage.
What does all this mean in terms of design, optimization and submission? It means that one has to realize that people may well enter your site through the “side door” or the “back door” and you have to prepare accordingly.
1. Natural way by providing quality content.
2. E-mails to bloggers and other webmasters if your site is not popular enough.
3. Exchange links with webmasters.
4. Submission in social sites.
5. Write article and submit in article directories.
6. Post in forums. But try not to spam. Write real post which will benefit community, or answer someone question if it related to your inner page.
Remember, that if your site promoted well and often appear in top search engine results… you can build just 3-10 links to your inner pages and they can take top 10 positions with popular keywords moving away other niche websites who got hundereds links with this keyword. Take a look on Wikipedia as example.

On-page Optimization Explained
There are two main types of search engine optimization – on-page and off-page. On-page is probably the simplest of these two aspects of search engine optimization. It relates to the elements on the web page itself. That is, the words, and what importance is given to the words on the page.
Search engines want to know first and foremost what a web page is about. So they will look at the various word elements. Search engine robots (or “bots”) cannot read images or things like javascript or most other scripting languages. So they have only the pure text to rely on. They look for various clues within the HTML (hyper text markup language) on the page to find out the important words.
First they look for the title of the page (the words within the tags) as the biggest clue. Then they look to see if there are any header tags see if they have any words between them. These are the large font sizes that denote page or section headings, and are a good indication what a page is about. They also look at the URL of the page itself (the web page address). The chances are that if the same word appears in the title tags, the header tags and the URL then it’s a fairly safe bet to assume that that’s what the page is about. They then check to see if the same words are contained in the body text of the page, and how often. The various combinations of these, and their frequency on the page, will determine firstly what the page is about, and secondly how important that page is against all other pages about the same thing (your competing pages). Off-page Optimization Explained This relates to the links from other sites coming into the web page in question. For a page to be listed high up in the search engine listings (if you want your page to be Number 1 or at least near the top of the first page of the search engine’s results) you have to be what the search engine judges an “authority” site. This usually means that you have to have other web pages (preferable outside your own site) on similar themes, linking to you. These links are preferably non- reciprocal (one-way only) denoting that the other websites think that this page is important enough to link to it (without necessarily a link back in return).
Increasingly, you need both on-page and off-page optimization. If you are in a relatively
uncompetitive market, like balloon blowing (to take a throwaway example) the chances are you’ll be able to get a high listing in the search engines just by using good on-page optimization; you probably won’t need backlinks at all. But the more competitive the sector, you’ll be wanting all the backlinks you can get. And in a really competitive market, like the insurance market, you really will be struggling to inch ahead of your competitors by using complex backlink strategies like linking from different “C block” IP (more of that later) addresses, varying the anchor text (more of that later as well), and so on.

How can you tell the difference between a good link exchange and a bad one?
I heard that the bad ones can ban you from the search engines.
People say it is BAD, But i will advice two things when you select your partners
[1] Be selective - Find only relevant partners.
[2] Try 3 way - It works better i think.
In terms to avoid getting banned you need to be careful about automated link exchanges.
They are not all bad, but you must pay attention, because some of them leave HUGE footprints for the search engines...
Also some are just useless because your link gets burried within "137.786" link entry mega directories within a subpage so far down the linking hyrarchie (do you spell this like this?) that search engines just won´t find your link.
If you use them, be very selective.
1. In the automated link exchange service you chose
2. In the sites you change links with. (no mega directories, only sites related to your topic, link page must be able to be reached from the partners home page, at least not more than 3 clicks away...)
All after all, link exchanging is a time consuming task, but can pay off after time!

Thanks Google!
This week I received a Christmas gift from Google. It is a Great PR of my all Blogs, Sites and Directory.
The Google page ranking mechanism is the most successful collaborative ranking mechanism there is, which is able to successfully operate on a huge dataset. For those of you who for some strange reason don’t know, Google will rank web pages not only based on what words appear in them and how prominently they appear, but based on how many other websites carry link to that particular page, and how many websites carry links to those websites, and so forth, producing a surprisingly accurate and fair ranking mechanism.
I did not realize that my blog now has PR4. I just read in the forum and discussed in my friend group that Google is finally uploading the PR data to most data centers recently to update all PRs . After reading the forum, I checked my blog. Surprisingly for me, I got PR4 :D
But I am personally happy this this PR update because it means something for a beginner like me who just started to make this blog 3-4 months ago. So, what did I do for the last 3 months to have my PR increased from PR0 to PR4?
I did on my blog in these points
1. I updated my blog regularly .
2. I did exchange links to related websites or blogs.
3. I put comments on blogs.
I got Pr on my these blogs sites and Dir
http://godirectory.mylinea.com/ 4 PR
http://equipmentleas.blogspot.com/ 3 PR
http://121dating.blogspot.com/ 3 PR
http://health-terms.blogspot.com/ 4 PR
http://deepseotips.blogspot.com/ 4 PR
Thanks to Google
And, so are most bloggers.
Well, Mr. Google , don’t penalize good, transparent bloggers who are trying to make a buck but still offer quality content. Let search engine visitors decide if the content is worthwhile.
Please suggest me Some points that how can i improve My blogs regularly.I am waiting your comments.
Once more thanks to Google Team

Email marketing is a sub-discipline and type of marketing which uses electronic mail for communicating commercial or fundraising messages to an audience .Well if you start email marketing you need to understand that a market that is relatively new has slightly different nuances. For instance a Google adword count has a maximum of 25-30 words characters. The design too isn't very flashly. An email marketing venture acquired the required skills.
Through the knowledge of the Internet is a must and the other required skills like creativity, inclination towards search marketing, technological knowledge how ,understanding of consumer behaviour etc, are also needed.
Planning is extremly important. What do you want to achieve out of a particular campaign and who are your target audience. In terms of scope of operations ,a minimum of certain skills are required copy writing ,designing etc.
There are many email marketing software available by which you can exactly track how many people click on particular service and how many people found it interesting and how many of people went a step further. You can also get answers to question like what is the average age group of Internet users who clicked on a particular online ad what is it that appealed to them by collecting data from the feed back form they fill in a particular ad etc.
There are enough opportunities available in email marketing considering the fact that competition in this booming industry is also fierce. But the landscape is changing, as the target auidence is transforming its behaviour.

Now Google passed 9 yrs today and what a nine years it's been. From a startup to an entity paralleled only by Star Trek's Borg in information and influence. Let's take a brief look at how the past 9 years have gone shall we?
I had a friend of mine tell me in 1999, “Check out this site - google.com. You need it, it’s way faster than Yahoo! and you get results you are actually looking for.”
There are a lot of features in google like their email service through GMAIL, added documents and a calendar al a lot of features in google.
Google staretd his journey on 1996 not after 7 yrs Google is in the Top of searchengines list.
1996: Larry and Sergey begin work on the search Engine,
1998: Both guys Larry and Sergey raise investment and open Google’s first offices in California.
1999: Moves offices twice, first to Palo Alto, then to Googleplex, its current home in Mountain View, California. The beta label comes off in September of 1999.
2000: Partnership with Yahoo. Officially becomes the world’s largest search engine – it now has a lot of pages you can tell billlions-page index.
2001: Eric Schmidt joins Google. Then Google Images launched.
2002: Google News and Froogle launched.
2003: Google AdSense – a program that chooses advertising according to a web page’s content – is launched.
2004: Gmail is launched.
2005: Google Earth is launched.
2006: Google China, or Google.cn, is launched. Google purchases YouTube.com also in this year.
2007: Google open Gmail to everyone.
I wishes Google a happy ninth birthday

An algorithm is a mathematical equation that uses certain information from your website in order to define its rankings. If you're looking for a printout of the specific equation Google uses to rank sites and how much each factor is weighed, this is not the place to get it. The actual algorithm used by Google is a secret, and will stay that way for as long as they can keep it. Although the specifics of the algorithm are not released at all, Google patented the basics of their algorithm, which makes it easily accessible to the public. If you would like to view the patent in all its splendor, simply search in whatever search engine you would like for the phrase "Google Patent."
This is a general overview of the general things this algorithm searches for, written in plain English for the average webmaster. This guide will go over some of the things Google's spiders are looking for, and how to utilize this knowledge in order to boost your rankings on the Google search engine. Keep in mind that while this guide is written specifically for staying on Google's good side in regards to placement in their search engine, the same tactics are definitely portable to the other major search engines such as Yahoo and MSN. Although Google's algorithm is extremely complex compared to those of Yahoo and MSN many of the same strategies still apply.
So, how does it work?
Basically, when a Google spider, or robot, finds your site a number of things are taken into consideration. Not only does this spider search through the content and links on your page, cataloguing keywords, page titles and descriptions, backward links, and meta tags as it goes along, it even looks through your whois information. Whois information is the information provided through your hosting company on who exactly owns the website, including name, telephone number, email address, physical address, how long your site is registered for, and more. To check the whois information on your site, as well as others, visit and type in the URL of the site you are checking information on.
All of these are major factors (yes, including your physical address and name and the duration of your registration on a particular domain name) in the algorithm. Therefore, it is extremely important to optimize every single part of your site, visible or invisible to the common browser.

Free for All (FFA).
Most of this information comes straight from the SEO pros. Careful reading to the end virtually guarantees that you'll know what they know.
An FFA is a links page where anyone can add a link - quite similar to a link farm. Don't be fooled into listing your site on these or linking to them. Many programs will submit your link automatically, to hundreds of FFAs all over the web. Don't use these programs! The search engines will steer clear of your site for a long time if you do.
Who Should I Link To, and How?
Be very selective about your outbound links and your requests for inbound links, and avoid any site that's anything like a link farm. Look for websites that have similar subjects to yours, good rankings and good traffic. Depending on the topic, they might be hard to find - but then you should find it easier to rank highly in these topics.
Once you've found a few good sites, the next step is to email them and request a link. You should, of course, offer one in return. You will run into some opposition with this method and you will sometimes be ignored completely, but you should have a reasonable amount of success. We can't stress enough, though, that you should be careful about which sites you link to, and check your links regularly.
The Bottom Line.
Link farms are dangerous to your website and a complete waste of time. They can bring your business crashing down by getting you banned from the search engines. You should be concentrating on real marketing methods - even though they're not a 'quick fix', they can work if you give them some time.
There are many real ways to get traffic to your website, and using professional methods can give you a big increase in traffic. Using link farms and FFAs is a good way to get yourself nowhere fast.

Organic SEO or
search engine optimization is a slow and steady process. Achieving top rankings takes time and
link building is a big part of that effort. If you are to have a successful web site and obtain high search engine rankings you will need quality relevant web sites linking to your web site. The amount and quality of links you need will depend on the competitiveness of the keyword phrases for which you are optimizing. More web masters are focusing on quantity and getting several links fast. This is bad because it can be seen as manipulating the search engines. Check the guidelines for the search engine you are trying to optimize for, this will give you a good idea of what and what not to do.
There are some easy ways to get permanent
one way links Building. Directories are the best first step and may be all you need if your key word term is not competitive. They can also be a good source of relevant traffic. Directories are a human edited trusted link source, look for directories that have a good reputation and are well established. If you can, get listed in a niche directory to increase your relevance.
When obtaining links from other sites focus on the quality of the link. Is the page on topic and relevant to your site? What is the position of the link? Is it off to the side with a bunch of other sites? Does it look natural and like it belongs there? What is the anchor text of the link? These are the questions you need to ask yourself when optimizing off site links. Reciprocal links have some value, but with software that automates the process it seems to have gotten out of hand. Plus do you really want a link on these low quality directory pages? How much value do they add by linking to you?
Writing articles is another good way to get incoming links, plus you will gain traffic. There are several free web sites that you can submit articles to. The links are valuable on article pages because there are usually very few links on the page, plus the article will be relevant to your product or service offering.
Write a press release to announce your business, new service offerings, or any news that is important. You may end up getting several links, plus press releases are usually available for a long time on the internet.

Did you know that Affiliate marketing is the simplest and most powerful way of making money online? However, like all businesses, if you don't have the right knowledge then you could end up failing in affiliate marketing.
Mistake 1: Choosing the wrong affiliate.
People still believe in get rich quick schemes and affiliate marketing is no different. In their rush to be part of one, we have a tendency to make big mistakes. Joining a program that is hyped up without considering if the product appeals to us. This is not a very wise move.
Instead of jumping on the bandwagon, try choosing a product in which you have a passion for. Then do some research about that product to see if they are in demand. Promoting a product you are more passionate about is easier than promoting one to just make a few bucks.
Mistake 2: Joining too many affiliate programs.
Since affiliate programs are so easy to join, people are often tempted to join multiples of affiliate programs. This will quickly ruin your focus and you will be overwhelmed. We all want multiple sources of income but joining multiple programs and attempting to promote them all at the same time will prevent you from succeeding. The best way to get excellent results is by joining just one program that pays a 40% commission at least.
Then give it your best effort by promoting your products enthusiastically. When you start to make a reasonable profit, then you can move ahead and join a second affiliate program.
The technique is to do it slowly but surely. There is really no need to rush into things, especially with affiliate marketing. With the way things are going, the future is looking real bright and affiliate marketing will be here for years to come.
Mistake 3: Not buying the product or using the service.
As an affiliate, your goal is to sell something. For you to achieve this, you must be educated about the product or service. It is very difficult do this if you have not yourself tried these things out. Try the product or service personally first before you sign up as an affiliate to see if it is really delivering what it promises. If you have done so, then will be able to effectively communicate its advantages and disadvantages. Your customers will then feel the sincerity and truthfulness in you, which will result in sales.

Job Interviews - Six Tips to Prepare You
Tip Number One
Prepare a 30 second "marketing message" to use when I ask you to "tell me about yourself." This should be about your job qualifications, NOT about your personal life. At this point, I'm not interested in where you were born, went to school, how many kids you have, etc. It's all about the things that make you a good candidate for my job opening.
Tip Number Two
Find out the name and title of every person you will meet on the interview. Memorize the names. This is a job interview tip that most applicants, oddly enough, tend to ignore. It's perfectly acceptable to ask the HR person who set up your interview to provide these details.
Tip Number Three
Have anecdotes ready. This is another job interview tip that is frequently missed. Many times, I'll ask questions that require you to provide examples of how you handled a difficult challenge or other work situation. These questions often start with a phrase such as, "Tell me about a time when you faced...." Since these questions can be about any subject, they can be difficult to prepare for, but they do follow a pattern. I'm usually interested in a few general categories, such as how you handled conflict, a difficult situation, a problem employee, or one of your success stories. Prepare a good example for each of these areas and one will very likely fit.
Tip Number Four
Do your homework and research the company. The company web site is the best starting place because it will have all the positive things that the company wants you to know. Be sure to do a search on the web site for the name of the Hiring Manager and any others you are scheduled to meet. You just may find out some information about them that will help establish rapport in the interview. Learning about the Hiring Manager is one of the best job interview tips I can give you.
Tip Number Five
Read the common questions you may come across in the interview and practice developing answers that are framed with your accomplishments and qualifications. It's one thing to say you can do something; it's another to give examples of things you have done. Be sure to have some good examples of your work that is applicable to that specific job. Your answers to questions will be much stronger as a result.
Tip Number Six
Have some questions prepared that you will ask the Hiring Manager. This shows you did your homework and have thought about the position. You should have at least four or five questions of your own, in case some of them will have already been covered by the interviewer. You want to be sure to still have some to ask. Here are some general questions that fit almost any interview:

SEO = Search Engine Optimization
Search Engine Optimization is the process of scientifically tweaking a particular website's pages in order to get a good rank from major search engines for a competitive keyword or group of keywords. Despite popular opinion, Meta tags don't really help at all. However, the description tag is important because that is the description that will appear in your listing on Google.
SEM = Search Engine Marketing
Search Engine Marketing is one effective example Internet Marketing that involves search engine optimization. This involves planning and executing right methods to target and get quality traffic to a particular website and convert this traffic into sales or signups. To begin selecting keywords, consider what words and phrases the people you are trying to reach will be searching on. When placing keywords in your keyword tag, it is best to use phases rather than single words. Almost all single words are in very widespread use, thus will not tend to produce high rankings. Keyword phrases can be better tailored to your business.
SEO Specialist = Search Engine Optimization Specialist

Affiliate marketing is a concept that has been around in the webs for quite some time now। However there are lots of people who are ignorant to the facts of affiliate marketing and tend to think that affiliate marketing can be used for making quick money. However in reality, this is not the case.
The first thing people have to realize is that affiliate marketing is not a one-day task. It is more like an on going assignment where modifications have to be constantly made on the advertisement to ensure increased sales. You will have to try out different advertising techniques; different means of adding affiliate banners and text links to the site and maybe even join different affiliate programs to find out which affiliate program tends to perform the best. In other words, realizing that lots of trial and error is involved in affiliate marketing will help you succeed in affiliate marketing.
Second mistake most affiliates make is of having a list of about 20 affiliated banners on a single page of their site. In such situations, though most people will see the web page, they won't bother clicking on the banners and thus visit the affiliated sites as your web page looks more like a link farm to them. It is instead better to only add affiliate links or banners that have relevance to the information found on your web page. Place about three affiliate links on your web page, and you have a better chance of your visitors clicking on the links to reach the seller's web page.
Third reason people fail in affiliate marketing is insufficient advertising. There is no way you can expect sales if you just add affiliate material to your site and don?t have any traffic to your site. You have to directly advertise the affiliate links or perhaps add the affiliate links to your website to succeed in affiliate marketing. With SEO, you can improve the page rank of your website, and with this, there is an increased traffic flow to your website. Once there is an increase in traffic to your site, the higher is the number of clickthrus your affiliate links receive. This in turn leads to an increased possibility of sales, and thus you earning money through affiliate marketing.

There have been a lot of heated discussions regarding link building. Is it ethical to create a link building campaign? Does Google or any other search engine penalize for "link farms" (a bunch of non-related links created for the SOLE purpose of increasing search engine ratings)? Is the "link building era" over?
Link Farms
Many webmasters claim that Google penalizes websites for link farms. If this is so, why are a link farm sites that have a page rank of 5 on their link farm page? Let me give you an example, go to Google.com, type in any popular keyword(s) and append the word "links" to it. For example, "ABCD Links." Notice you'll get tones of websites that are linking to unrelated sites, but still have a great PR. I do not encourage link farming in any way or form, but building valuable partnerships is something I do encourage. Remember, many webmasters claim to know the truth regarding search engine algorithms, but no one knows the EXACT TRUTH except the programmers at the search engines. Webmasters may have been penalized in the past for link farms and doorway pages (pages created around certain keywords for the sole purpose of redirecting surfers to the main page), but who's to say why some HAVEN'T been penalized.
Who Should I Create Link Partnerships With ?
1. Create link partnerships with sites related to your site.
2. Create link partnerships with sites that have an audience that may be interested in your products
3. Exchange homepage links with websites that fit in your genre. You'll receive a link on a page with a good ranking and you'll get quality, targeted hits.
How Do You Find Link Partners?
1. Signup with an automated links management provider that organizes your links and helps find link partners. Automated tools are the best because they help you save time. Uploading and downloading your pages for every link exchange can be a huge pain and very time consuming. Automated tools are NOT link farms because they give you complete control of who you exchange links with. If a member exchanges links with every website, he/she might be abusing the tool. If a member uses the tool responsibly, it can be very effective.
2. This is a great little exercise I would recommend to anyone.
a. Write down 20 search terms pertaining to your website
c. Contact as many websites as possible listed under that search term and ask them to exchange inner page or homepage links with you. If they're NOT interested, ask whether they would be interested in selling advertising space. If your website is fairly new, you may want to ask sites for advertising prices. Free hits are the best hits but sometimes you might have to go the extra lap and pay for service. I wouldn't recommend spending over $100 / month for advertising UNLESS it's a high traffic site with your site audience. The best deals are the ones that offer $10-25 / month. There are sites out there that will sell SUPER cheap advertising, and others that charge an arm and a leg.
EVERYONE gets rejected sometime or another so keep your head up and keep moving along! The internet is comprised of Billions of websites. If you're rejected 500 times, you still have MANY business opportunities left! This is a continuous job so set aside time every week to do this. If you don't have time for this, then you don't have time to make money.
3. Hire a Link Building firm (this can be quite expensive but if you have money, its minimal work for you)

The advantages of Internet marketing are many. Since the World Wide Web is so widely available, businesses can access millions of potential customers with just a few clicks of their mouse. Yet, as with any form of advertising, there are some disadvantages of Internet marketing as well. Each business owner and salesman will need to consider both in order to decide if online promotion is right for them. By weighing their options and determining the type of consumers they need to reach, they can see more of the advantages than the disadvantages
The Web is not just nationwide - it’s worldwide. This means that your product or service can be viewed by people just about anywhere in the world.Compared to other forms of advertising, Internet marketing can reach a far larger number of people. Television and radio ads just can’t compare to a pop-up or banner ad online. Mailings get thrown away and aren’t cost effective. it can also help you reach your target audience of consumers. Through email marketing, you can reach thousands of people at once. You simply sign up with a service that sells you the email addresses of thousands of interested, potential customers. You or the service can send them an email about your product or service with a link to your website. Your website will also help you to reach your target audience.
There are some disadvantages of Internet marketing. There is a possibility that you could be participating in illegal or unethical online promotions. That is why it is extremely important that you familiarize yourself with the appropriate ways to obtain emails and to avoid spamming. Another of the disadvantages is that you may not want to reach customers through the Internet. You or your type of business may be the kind that requires face-to-face contact for success. You may be selling a product that is best demonstrated in person. You may also have a particular consumer base that isn’t as Internet savvy such as the elderly. Thus, your efforts to market on the Web would really be a waste of time and money. The last of the disadvantages of Internet marketing is that unless you can market professionally, few consumers will take you seriously. Just like other forms of advertising, it is equally important that you make the right impression with consumers. Your website, emails and ads should all be presentable and professional.

Linking is the best and fast way to improve your page rank.Try to get a link back from higher page rank websites.
If you are planning to purchase a link back then remember this point, some websites have PR4, PR5 or even PR7 for their home page, but no PR for any of their other pages, So remember to pay for only that link which will be displayed on a PR+ page.
Submit to directories and sit relax. Start one by one and submit your link in all web directories. If you can, try to give a link back (reciprocal link on your page) to free directories, some directories does not need it, but if you provide them, their owners will look for your approval first
Update your website every day by adding more unique content. If you site has some information for a visitor then it is 100% chance for him to come back to your site again.
Provide inside linking to your website. For example you can provide a link of your previous and next articles on an article page. Or you can provide a list of related articles so visitor can remains a long time on your website.

Internet Retailer reports that retailers are spending more on pay-per-click marketing and natural search engine optimization. 67.4% of marketers claim that search engine marketing performs better than other forms of marketing, including e-marketing, affiliate marketing, and direct mail. Among the respondents to the Internet Retailer study, natural search engine optimization seems to yield higher conversion rates than paid search.
In an effort to find more customers for their business, many business owners start advertising campaigns in Internet.
The measurement seems to be shifting toward natural search engine optimization. A mix of both tactics seems to be the right approach for many companies. Optimizing for natural results is the prudent approach for core keywords, while paid search can supplement these results for keywords and phrases that are related to the core keywords. Regardless of the approach, customers clearly do not ignore paid search ads (”sponsored listings”), and as we learned in last year, ranking in the top three natural results is critical as these links are most often clicked.
At last no matter how many visitors you get, but how many of them will become customers and how many will just close the web page.So don't increase only traffic. Increase targetted traffic with A business
Happy Business

Some search engine optimization companies and software developers use unethical tricks and techniques to artificially boost the search engine rankings of a web site। This dilutes the quality of search results and the accuracy of search results becomes questionable।Search engines consider the following search engine optimization techniques as SPAM। For that reason, DO NOT use or promote these methods :
automatically generated doorway pages
cloaking and false redirects
keyword stuffing
hidden text or hidden links
pages loaded with irrelevant words
duplicated content on multiple pages
misspelling of well-known web sites

Although the robots.txt file is a very important file if you want to have a good ranking on search engines, many web sites don't offer this file.
If your web site doesn't have a robots.txt file Till, read on to learn how to create one. If you already have a robots.txt file, read our tips to make sure that it doesn't contain errors.
What is robots.txt?
When a search engine crawler comes to your site, it will look for a special file on your site. That file is called robots.txt and it tells the search engine spider, which web pages of your site should be indexed and which web pages should be ignored.
The robots.txt file is a simple text file (no HTML), that must be placed in your root directory, for example:
http://www.abc.com/robot.txt
How do I create a robots.txt file?
As mentioned above, the robots.txt file is a simple text file. Open a simple text editor to create it. The content of a robots.txt file consists of so-called "records".
A record contains the information for a special search engine. Each record consists of two fields: the user agent line and one or more Disallow lines. Here's an example:
Things you should avoid
>> Don't use comments in the robots.txt file
>> Don't use white space at the beginning of a line. For example, don't write
>> Don't change the order of the commands. If your robots.txt file should work, don't mix it up.
>> Don't use more than one directory in a Disallow line. Do not use the following "Disallow: /support /cgi-bin/ /images"
>> Be sure to use the right case. The file names on your server are case sensitve

Successful internet marketer offers tips to increase your online profits.
>> Address your targeted audience on your business site. Example: "Welcome, Internet Marketers". If you have more than one, address them all.
>> Make sure your content and graphics are relevant to your web site's theme. You wouldn't want to use a bird graphic on a business web site.
>> Update your Website content with the theme regularly.
>> Alert visitors by email when you add new content to your web site. this helps to remind people to revisit your web site more and more.
>> Offer a way for visitors to contact you on each web page. List your Full contact adress.
>> Give people the option of viewing your web site offline. Offer it by autoresponder or a printer friendly version.
>> Make sure at your content is original. The other option is to offer something else original other than content, like software product or an online utility.
>> Offer your visitors incentives for revisiting your web site. You could give them new content.
>> Publish a FAQs for your business, product and web site. They could have questions about multiple parts of your business.
>> Make sure all links on the navigational bar are clickable. If people can't get to where they want to go, they will leave.
If a Business man keeps these points in mind then surely he will get sucsess.

SEO-Search Engine Optimization is the new mantra of building money making successful online business.
Be it for serious business, or “just for fun” amateur, unless you follow SEO rules and tips, your site is likely to go unnoticed among the ever evolving competitive world of online startups.
The major part of online traffic comes through search engines like Google, Yahoo and MSN and referrals from other sites. Search Engine Optimization helps you to rank high on search engines, thereby increasing visibility to your potential clients/readers. It is unfortunate that many websites and start ups which have high quality exclusive content, go unnoticed among the crowd because they haven’t optimized their sites to search engines.
Search Engine Optimization is not rocket science, anybody who has a flair to run a blog can make a good SEO. You only need to know some basic HTML and good knowledge of how the search engines work. I’m assuming that anyone who can set up a blog can even be a good SEO and implement the tips discussed here on his blog to his benefit.
Cheers!
Keep It UP!

It is now common knowledge, at least among online marketers and search engine optimization (SEO) specialists, that the success of a SEO campaign is dependent to a great extent on the success of link building efforts. Greater the number of links from high-quality, relevant websites, greater the chances of a website getting ranked higher in the search engine results pages (SERPs) for relevant keywords.
When undertaking a link building project, there are three criteria to be borne in mind:
* Quantity of links: More the number of links, the better it is
* Quality of links: Better the quality of pages and websites from which the links are obtained, greater the weightage of those links to the overall link popularity of a site
* Relevance of links: Greater the relevance of the sites from which the inbound links are obtained, better the results will be with the overall off-site SEO efforts.
Focus the link building campaign on the above three aspects to achieve optimum results.
How to embark on a SEO link building campaign
The key to building high organic search engine rankings is to ensure that the search engines view the site to be 'naturally' relevant to its target users. Therefore, all efforts in the various aspects of SEO, including boosting link popularity, should take into consideration the need to make them seem natural.
This is a tedious process which requires patience and perseverance; however, the benefits of getting good quality inbound links will certainly be worth the effort.
Building one-way links for a website is definitely with this one-to-one approach is much more challenging as it involves convincing the other party of the merits of linking to the site. Some common ways that can be used to build one ways links are directory submissions (both paid and free) as well as buying links on relevant websites. The latter approach (buying text links) is still under a cloud and there is a debate on their value to improving search engine rankings. Of course, as long as the links provided are related and relevant.
Alternatively, many SEO professionals opt for building reciprocal links, where in they swap links with another website. These links are deemed to be less valuable than a one-way link from a good quality website, but as long as the 'reciprocal' links are relevant (thematically), these may continue to offer some value in the SEO process.

Blogs have become one of the most effective Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies. The number of blog sites spawning on a day-to-day basis is a clear indication of their relevance in the present Internet communication.
A blog can play an important role in optimizing the website. Earlier, blogs were considered as a means of expressing one’s opinion or exchange ideas, most often done in a causal way. But the recent changes that happened in the online communication have redefined the blogs as an effective tool of communication among a varied group of customers, businesses, and every individual under the earth.
To create SEO-friendly blogs, one has to take care of the following aspects.
· Relevant content
· Appropriate title
· Proper links
Content
Blogs have got two functions to perform – firstly, it should Update regularly daily or wekly basis, and secondly, it should attract prospective visitors to the website. Both these functions can be achieved only if it is provided with appropriate contents. The search engine identifies the website mainly through the keywords used in it. This rule is applicable to blogs too. The blog, therefore, should contain appropriate number of keywords per total word count (keyword density).
The relevance of the content is another important factor, not only for the SEO purposes, but also for the business purpose. The information that you convey through the blogs should be effective and useful to the customers. It should not merely aim at SEO and thus focus only on the keywords.
Title
The title is the identification code of the blog. Therefore, the title of the blog has to be named on the primary keyword/phrase. It would enable the search engines to trap them easily.
Links
To reach to a blog, there should be proper links to it. The website should have outbound links to the blog; in return, the blog sites should contain links that direct them to the relevant website. This link exchange is another important method of improving the traffic of the website.
SEO-friendly blogs improve the traffic to the website, and it also attracts the viewers to it. The role of blogs in website marketing will continue to remain relevant for a very long time.

Webmasters across the Internet spend countless hours preparing their websites to suit Google's latest algorithm changes, in the hope of achieving a decent Google page rank, or a handful of backlinks on Googles huge database, but at the end of the day.. does it really matter?
For those of us involved in any form of search engine optimization, we are led to believe that if our websites are not recognised and accepted by our new master, then we are doomed to failure. There are currently hundreds of tutorials available on the internet which offer tips, tricks and secret formulae in making our pages "Google-Friendly", and in a format that is acceptable to this Search Engine Giant. Yet who knows what is acceptable to Google and what is not?
During the last couple of years however, it seems ownership of the Internet has been surrendered to a new overlord! GOOGLE!
Google's algorithm changes are becoming more and more unpredictable and this deceit presents the potential for high damage to your profitability at short notice. In their Company Profile, Google claims that their mission is to "organize the world's information, and make it universally accessible and useful". It is questionable however, as to whether their methods offer the world free and relevant results for any search term, or whether they in fact, only present information offered by those
websites that adhere to Google's ever changing and secretive rulebook.
The Internet is there for all of us to enjoy. A free information system, with a level playing field when it comes to getting our websites noticed. Google's agenda now seems to be to present information from the highest bidders rather than delivering quality information to it's search pages. And what of "Google Ranking"? So much store is set by the importance of being ranked by Google, yet is it really that important?
The word Google is a play on the word "Googol", the mathematical term for a 1 followed by 100 zeros, and whilst Google's founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin, coined it to reflect their company's mission to organise an immense amount of information, I believe that the company's new agenda is to organise that amount of dollars into their bank account.
I do however swear that they will get no help from me in so doing! I am now cured of my Google adoration fixation, and set about my SEO duties treating all search engines the same. One can do little more than present an informative, attractive and useful website, with Meta Tags to help all search engines. The Internet belongs to us all, and hopefully it will stay that way for the forseeable future.

It’s worth taking the time to make your site more search engine friendly, because some simple changes may pay off with big results. Even if you don’t come up in the top ten for your target keywords, you may find an improvement for target keywords you aren’t anticipating. The addition of just one extra word can suddenly make a site appear more relevant, and it can be impossible to guess what that word will be.
Also, remember that while search engines are a first way people look for web sites, but they are not the only way. People also find sites through word-of-mouth, traditional advertising, the traditional media, newsgroup postings, web directories and links from other sites. Many times, these alternative forms are far more effective draws than are search engines.
Finally, know when it’s time to call it quits. A few changes may be enough to make you tops in one or two search engines. But that’s not enough for some people, and they will invest days creating special pages and changing their sites to try and do better. This time could usually be put to better use pursuing non-search engine publicity methods.
Don’t obsess over your ranking. Even if you follow every tip and find no improvement, you still have gained something. You will know that search engines are not the way you’ll be attracting traffic. You can concentrate your efforts in more productive areas, rather than wasting your valuable time.

A blog is a shortened word for the term web log। Many people use blogs to keep notes of a log of their websites progress as it is built, however many people use blogs for different reasons।Some people use blogs as an online journal and they write about all sorts of things that are going on in their personal lives।
Most blog services are very user friendly. If you can run simple programs such as MSWord or Word Perfect then you have the knowledge to maintain your own blog. There's no need to even have html knowledge. In essence, anyone can have his or her own blog.
Bloggers are often looking for ways to increase traffic to their sites। There are several ways to go about doing this. Optimizing for the search engines, buying advertising, submitting posts to search engines, and article syndication are all ways that bloggers can gain traffic.
If you search the web you will find lots of blogs। Blogs are now used by many as a source of promoting their own business. This is a non traditional method of promoting your business online. If you want to excel at blogging, you need to refresh its content every day. The material you enter on your blog should be of good quality. Only then will it be able to serve the purpose of promotion. Like the other social media, blogging is extensively done by internet marketers. This is known as business blogging. Good quality blogs ensure more visitors to your web site.
I didn’t start this article with the intention of sharing so many of my feelings about blogging, so I apologize if I’ve rambled a bit, but I hope this helps similar people who are going through the same stumbling blocks, of trying to start blogging and finding their way through।

The number of occurences of a key word or phrase in a document.Keyword Frequency Denotes how often a keyword appears in a page or in an area of a page. In general, higher the number of times a keyword appears in a page, higher its search engine ranking. However, repeating a keyword too often in a page can lead to that page being penalized for spamming.
Keywords are the prime factor in optimization and since there could be lot of keywords for a webpage.Developers apply the most relevant search engine optimization tools to your website business. Part of this process involves proper Keyword Frequency.
Some SEO’s suggest that a keyword density of 5 – 7% for a single or two word keyword combo is ideal, but a simple way of tackling this issue is just to ensure that your most important phrases appear 3 or 4 times on a page for which you are optimising against that phrase. Also, do not try to “hide” text on your page and placing the text on the same colour as the background. Google and other SE can be penalized this process.
Search engine friendly algorithm that is chalked full of relevant keywords to ensure the user experience is exceptional. These techniques create more traffic which allows for a greater web presence. This web presence created by proper Keyword Frequency will most assuredly generate the traffic and business that you need to make the money you want.

Make Money by Signature "A signature is a short paragraph of the text that we place at the end of our message. It should be 5-6 lines long and contain our contact details with a brief summary. It is an automated addition of a few lines at the foot of message. These usually consist of the sender's adress, Full name and other details."
Make Money by selling a link in a forum signature is not a dream but a new business. Everytime you answer a thread in a forum or open a new thread, you are allowed (not in all forums) to leave a signature. By doing so you are not only getting backlinks to the websites you add to your signature but also direct traffic from people that click on the links. Just immagine you have 1000 posts in a forum, this would mean that all the links in your signature would be on 1000 on different forum pages.
Leaving links in a signature is thought to get visitors to the websites you list there instead of backlinks. On high traffic forums these links can bring a fair amount of visitors and that’s why people started to sell a “spot” in their signature for a monthly fee. The length of a signature is limited and it varies from forum to forum.I saw in many forums , where people were selling a link in their signature.

Tips for a Successful Blog
1. Posting New Blog Entries Regularly
2. Choose Good headline! for your posts
3. Get some deep Backlink
1) Posting New Blog Entries Regularly. At least once a week.In some cases it might be impossible for you to update your blog once a day or even once a week, however if you want to drive a lot of traffic to your blog and also generate some revenue you should make it one of the primary activities of your day.
2) Choose search engine friendly and Good headline! for your posts. While the first tip is something that most bloggers try to follow, this is one that many of them often forget about. Many of my articles are ranking on the first page of Google’s search results for certain keywords. I always try to repeat the keywords I’m using in the title also inside the content. This makes the title relevant to the content and makes the whole post search engine friendly. I also try to use terms that are not used by all the other bloggers. If you are going to write an article about “Adsense tips”, for example, don’t name it only “Best Adsense Tips” but use a more original title. Try to find some other relevant keywords you can easily insert in the title and repeat those keywords inside the content.
3) Get some Inbound links!. If you write interesting articles, other bloggers will link to your content and you will achieve some backlinks. These backlinks are very useful because they’re “deeplinks” (if another blogger writes about one of your articles, he will probably link to the article URL). To boost your search engine rankings you could also buy some links (with the anchor text you want to rank high) from websites that are content related to yours. Do not attempt to join “link farms” or even participate in reciprocal link exchanges.

A sitemap is a great way to show the search engines the structure and organization of a web site. This helps the search engines find pages that may have not been properly linked throughout the rest of the site.
In its Webmaster Guidelines, Google touts the merits of adding a sitemap to your site.
” We don’t guarantee that we’ll crawl or index all of your URLs. However, we use the data in your Sitemap to learn about your site’s structure, which will allow us to improve our crawler schedule and do a better job crawling your site in the future. In most cases, webmasters will benefit from Sitemap submission, and in no case will you be penalized for it. ”
I have to say that I recently saw a new site where it was sandboxed. One week after adding the sitemap there was a couple thousand percent incerase in the pages indexed.
As a Webmaster, one of the things you always need to be aware of is how well your the pages of your site are interlinked. To combat this, you can generate either an XHTML or html Sitemap that contains links to every page of your site.A properly constructed XHTML or html sitemap solves this problem

When adding your keywords and phrases in Adwords in Google, you have some options from a 'broad match' to the highly specific 'exact match'. More of those tomorrow - today we're looking at negative keywords.
negative keywords will help filter out some of the traffic that you may not want. For example, if you're selling Computer Software, but you don't sell Mobile Software, you can make ‘Mobile Software’ a negative keyword. That way you won’t show your ad to a shopper looking for Mobile Software (which may help you save money).
Here are some tips and tricks to getting the most out of your Negative Keyword research:
>> Use a keyword database tools such as Trellian or Wordtracker.
>> Use the Negative Keyword tab of the Google Keyword Tool
>> If you are using Web Analytics reports study your organic keyword reports for new negative keyword.
>> The only difference is that you put a negative sign (–) before the word.
Most importantly, keep close watch on the source of your AdWords traffic and find out which one send to you traffic that convert into customers.
See full instructions for using the Negative Keywords tab.

Often familiar words and concepts become incomprehensible to business people when prefaced with the letter "e". eMarketing, eBusiness, eCommerce, eLearning, eService, e-This, e-That ….. The list goes on and on.
OK, back to business. Let's define as simply as possible what e-Marketing is.
Rather than creating a Web site, e-marketing focuses more on communicating on line, using a customer-directed dialogue with your company to find new prospects, increasing loyalty and making it easier for your customers to do business with you
E-marketing means using digital technologies to help sell your goods or services. These technologies are a valuable complement to traditional marketing methods whatever the size of your company or your business model.
